Does anyone else find it amusing that The Octopus Project will be opening for The Roots at this year's brofest (40acres)? Especially considering that they played KVRX's pledge drive last spring in the CMC plaza with a quite dismal turnout. Of course that's not a 1:1 comparison, but still. What a difference a year makes.

It just seems odd I suppose.

UPDATE: Crystal Castles will unfortunately be unable to play at the KVRX-plosion show on 3/13 (thurs.)due to injuries sustained during a recent car wreck (forcing them to cancel the remainder of their tour with HEALTH as well as earlier SXSW dates).

That's right. KVRX favorite Crystal Castles, an electronic duo from Toronto, have just been confirmed to play at the KVRX-plosion Event at the Austin Children's Museum on Thurs., March 13th.
