Roger Clemens

Submitted by albertalvarado71 on Tue, 04/29/2008 - 12:21.

Well looks like this lawsuit thing backfired on Roger Clemens. This pains me to see, especially because Clemens is not only a UT and Houston icon, but also an icon for baseball across this state. The fact is Clemens should have anticipated this. I am all in favor of a persons legal right to take someone who is defaming you to court in order to clear their name, but Clemens should have take J360 before doing this. In order to have grounds for a case, the statements made about you must be proven false.

Ok, so I accidentally put last weeks blog in as a comment for a previous blog. For those that had trouble finding it, here it is:

Ok, so maybe I' overreacting, but this team is struggling in the first round of a series that should have been over after four or five. I am sick and tired of this team underachieving. It seems like they only play well if their backs are against the wall. If a disaster occurs tonight and the Sharks lose Game 7 to Calgary, the whole thing needs to be blown up. Fire Ron Wilson and demote or trade Patrick Marleau.

NFL Rules Committee

First off I wish the owners leave the hair rule alone. I do feel that if a player chooses to grow his hair out then it should be considered part of the uniform and you should pull on it to bring him down. The proposed change is prohibiting players from growing their hair out. I disagree with the leagues attempt to limits its player’s personal freedoms. It the NFL is concerned with an image problem it should stop focusing on players hair and focus on their behavioral decisions.
