So this past weekend was pretty fun. Saturday night we had a house party with some kvrxers and got sparks to sponsor it! Lots of fun it was. Thanks to stephanie and michael for the house and evan for the sparks. Good times. Then ACL on sunday, another thing to thank kvrx for. Our media passes were awesome because they had free food and stuff back there, it was shady, there were some lounge chairs, and I saw a couple people getting interviewed. Ben Kweller was doing an interview for ME tv that was pretty interesting to watch. Then he did a promo spot for them and it was weird to see someone doing that...i don't know he was trying to be funny and energetic so it was kinda lame to see it in reality. I wanted to see yo la tengo, but i didn't go early enough because i was tired from the party the night before! My morning jacket was probably the best band i saw, esp. since i haven't seen them in a few years. It was cool seeing Dylan, but apparently he told acl that they weren't allowed to do any camera zoom ups of him or the band, so it was really hard to see anything. i thought that was kind of lame of him, but whatevs. All in all, it was a fun time. I'm glad I got to go thanks to kvrx!!!!
