I went to see Big Business last night. The crowd was filled with so many inexplicable goatees and Mike Patton fan boys that it was truly disgusting. While I should be happy that these aging metal heads aren't listening to Nu-Metal, its still a shame to see people who still smoke pot after turning 30. The crowd aside the show was fucking rad. That is, after the 30 minute flash cartoon that "opened" the show.

The drummer blew my mind. If nothing he is economical, as I think I heard close to 500 drum fills in about 30 minutes. The bass player/vocalist reminded me of zach galifianakis fronting a metal band. They had a guitar player with them last night, which I assume is rare since they are usually recognized as a duo. I didn't stay for the Melvins since all my professors are trying to kill me.
