In The Know

In The Know is a news talk show which focuses on topics relevant to the lives of U.T. Austin students and more broadly, Austinites. During the first half of the show, we update you on the news. During the second half of the show, we candidly talk about hot-button issues with in-studio guests. In The Know is meant to be informative AND entertaining.

I'm experimenting with this website to see what it is capable of doing. Our show is still a beh beh-only 8 weeks old. (omg this is the tenth week of classes. Where does the time go?) I'm working with multimedia consultants to learn how to best present information to you. In The Know is recorded weekly. Tomorrow, I will be exporting all those .mp3s to disc. We shall see if they can be uploaded to this website for your enjoyment. Additionally, the plan is to be able to access transcripts of past broadcasts of In The Know. Anyone want to volunteer to do that? lol We'd also like to see responses to the show with with your own analysis/comments/criticism/suggestions for improvement.

So, listen to In The Know every Friday at 7 p.m. and check back in with us at kvrx.org periodically to look at how we've grown.

You can archive and make the show available online using www.archive.org's free hosting. That would be cool, because your show sounds interesting but I'm not sure if I can listen at that time.

In the Know

Sounds like a great idea! People who can't listen to the show at the time it is presented can listen when they can!
