Thee Armada

You guys should totally tune in to 104.1 KRBE tonight at 10:15 to listen to the New Music Face-Off because Thee Armada, a band who is signed to my boyfriend Alex's label Foundation Recordings is going to be featured on it. The New Music Face-Off puts two new songs against each other and asks listeners to vote for which one they like best. Thee Armada's song, "Rock, Shock and Load" has won three nights in a row. They beat Fall Out Boy and Timbaland last night, and the first night they were on they beat Britney Spears's new song, which had been the previous winner six nights in a row. So you guys should totally listen and vote!

What, KRBE is a Houston radio station you say? You can listen online!!!!!!

lame

that band is totally lame. make your boyfriend stop signing bands that sound like fall out boy.

I actually saw Fall Out Boy

I actually saw Fall Out Boy in Boston a couple years ago with a girl I was dating at the time. She was a fan. We were introduced to each other because we both like "alternative" music. I gotta admit, as much as I'm not a fan of that band, the spectacle was kinda cool, big stadium, surrounded by middle-schoolers and their parents. On second thought, it wasn't very cool at all. What was I thinking? The things you do for girls.

I just talked to a buddy of mine here at work who actually did the same thing, went and saw a Maroon 5 concert for some girl he was into. The weird thing is, both girls are Indian and have the same name. Different girls though, thankfully.

But here's another dumb anecdote: I dated another Indian girl who is now dating a dude who used to play guitar with some guys from Fall Out Boy in a band called Racetraitor, hardcore Palestinian Lib themed-thrash punk.

How did I get going on this subject? Fall Out Boy? I love to tell embarassing stories about myself... there are just so many.

that sounds like a big

that sounds like a big bucket of lame
