The penultimately weird, annoying, yet oddly inspiring Joan of Arc will be performing at the Mohawk tonite. The Chicago band, led by singer/dorky mastermind Tim Kinsella, rose out of the ashes of Cap'n Jazz, and despite several breakups, have continued creating their absurd and off-putting (but sometimes catchy) indie rock well into the 21st century, tonite supporting their newest disc Boo Human. This is a notable show, as I don't think they tour much.
I probably won't go. I am going to stay home and watch the Celtics game. Is this nerdier than going to go see Joan of Arc? Start a forum on this topic.
