In my opinion, members from Teklife can do no wrong. This is true yet again with DJ Taye, who has 4 great tracks on this EP. Fellow crew members DJ Earl, DJ Paypal, DJ Manny, and Tripletrain bring their unique sound to this as well. Taye is creating some of the most soulful footwork/juke tracks I've heard in a long time, and he's only 20. (I wish I could do this, I can barely turn on my computer.) Each track flows together and has a similar sound, but it does not get dull. The vocal samples are used in an innovative way. If you are not familiar with footwork/juke, it's very choppy, repetitive dance music that is reminiscent of ghetto house. It's very fun music that seems simple at first, but when you really look into it, it's one of the most complex and unique genres out there today. This EP is a textbook example of it. Teklife til the next life!!
