Do you like Sirenia? Do you want cleaner, genter Sirenia? That is what you'll get with this album. It's composed of psot-rock arrangements... king of lessened by vocals that seem a bit too solid. There's nothing haunitng or ghoslty or outsider in vocalist Eizabeth Heaton's singing. It's pretty, sure, but Chelsea Wolfe is not. Superficially there are some similarities but not enough to really grab me. This is a slow, contemplative kind of album and would be good for a slow track to break up your set. The songs are sad - perfect for teh coming fall. Effects laden guitars, some good drumming, and female vox tie togeteher a pleasant sprawl of late nite listening. Maybe Midas Fall's next one will sound more desperate or atonal.
