Hey, it could happen

The California Angels (I'll stick with that moniker, as the franchise's geographical identity crisis is unsolvable) have been wheeling and dealing in the short time since the MLB season has come to an end. While they likely won't shore up the bully by signing free agent pitcher/talk show host Tony Danza this winter, they have already made some impressive but gutsy moves that hope to pay off when the 2008 season begins.

World Series game one tomorrow. Which leaves me wondering - Will we see something we remember for the rest of our lives?

"Share the Wealth" philosophy

Submitted by jman4540 on Wed, 10/03/2007 - 15:50.

Let me introduce you to the "share the wealth" philosophy. It is the main reason why I didn't feel shocked and devastated after the ohio st game and why i laugh at the yankees every year they don't win in baseball. If my favorite team wins a title (i.e. Texas Football, White Sox baseball, almost Maverick basketball), I am willing to tolerate years of less than championship standard. My philosophy is adjusted for each sport in terms of how long a team should win in a time period. It allows for lots of cities and organizations to feel the euphoria of a championship.
