It’s official. KVRX is tired of airing None of the Hits, All of the Time. It’s boring. Who cares about uplifting artists, especially now? Small artists are obviously small for a reason. Plus we all know there’s money in radio. We, like anyone else, want in on that. We decided KVRX needed to undergo radical change for you, and for us.
So we did the work. We hit the drawing board. Our team of dedicated staff got together and asked Grok how to draw in audiences and keep them here, spending money on what’s truly important: us. In a few seconds, our extensive research was complete. Grok told us it’s the hits that people want. People want more of the hits, more of the time.
As of today, April 1, KVRX will look a little different. We’ve partnered with multiple startup consulting companies in Austin to create a new KVRX. We will be utilizing AI tools to identify what music the average listener most wants to hear. Many of our listeners think they want to be introduced to new music; Grok let us know the human mind usually doesn’t know what it wants. But Grok assured us, he knows the human mind. From this day forward, we will shift our attention from alternative programming to a focus on pop hits. We want to platform the kind of timeless tracks you’d hear in Target, Marshall’s, or Hobby Lobby.
Additionally, we will be accepting exclusively AI-generated music submissions. The genre is untapped, and we’re keen to tap into it. This is the spirit of innovation which we champion here.
“One thing we always talk about on our show, Poetry Church, is the necessity of AI not only to radio but to the arts as a whole,”
All of us at KVRX thank you for your continued (financial) support, and we’re so excited to go on this journey with you. Tune in April 1 for Day 1 of our Big Beautiful Plan: All of the Hits, All of the Time.
What’s next for KVRX? Our station manager has her eyes on the prize.
“I’m hoping we can start phasing out those long, boring songs to focus on our ultimate goal: short-form advertisements.”
