Why did you join KVRX?
I joined KVRX because I love music and I wanted to make friends with people who also love music. Radio is very near and dear to my heart and having a space to gather and explore an interest that I love is awesome!!
What piece of advice would you give newcomers?
Don't be afraid to talk to people. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming genuinely. You could be minutes away from forming a life long friendship.
How did you find KVRX?
I was at a The Garden concert at Emo's and we were all waiting outside to see if we could meet Machinegirl or Fletcher and Wyatt after the show and I met these people trying to get a sweeper from them for KVRX. I was a freshman in high school and after waiting out in the freezing cold for 3 hours together, they told me to come and find them at KVRX when I came to UT the next year. Never saw them again but it was a beautiful moment.
