According to an inaccurate image I saw on Pinterest in middle school, the average human heart pumps about 2,000 gallons of blood daily, which is sometimes compared to the gasoline needed for a round trip to the moon. So the saying "I love you to the moon and back" essentially means you love someone with every heartbeat of you lifetime.
Although this fun fact may be scientifically inaccurate, my love for media is not. As someone with an embarrassingly high screen time and about 2 trillion terabytes of media stored on my Letterboxd, Pinterest, and Spotify combined, I often jump from one interest to another every week.
