How did you first hear about or get involved with KVRX?
I used to be a guest on my friend's KVRX shows before she graduated.

What is your favorite KVRX memory?
Though my time with KVRX has been short, my favorite memory has to be the one summer night when former KVRX dj, DJ Gold Grrl brought me and a few of our friends into the booth to do her show with her.
Tell us about your final playlist!
My final playlist is a culmination of tracks that informed my college music listening experience. As with my other shows, I sort of group sections together; the first third of my show being pretty dancy and upbeat, the second third featuring a hodge-podge of different tracks, sounds, and tempos, and the last third being more reflective. DJ Snickerdoodle, formerly known as DJ Gold Grrl joins me on the first third. It felt right because my KVRX experience was primarily experienced through her radio shows. Additionally, her final KVRX show (When I Die, Bury Me With My Golden Arm) was filled with suped up hyperpop tunes, which the first third of my final show almost pays homage to. So much of the music I love is influenced by the people I'm surrounded by or experiences happening at the time of first listen. That's why I also wanted to bring on some other guest DJs (Macadamia Nut and Lemon Drop) to talk with me about the songs or artists that are tied with the memories of each other. It's such a nice nostalgic time. This playlist is primarily made up of songs from my freshman and sophomore year, which makes sense to me because those years were so formative and I was feeling so much back then.
Having the opportunity to take the time and cull through my lengthy playlists over the last four years and pick out the tracks that mean the most to me has created this sense of closure I didn't know I needed. So thanks, KVRX. DJ Cookie signing off xx 🍪
